About Us

The Tree House at Camp Alexander

The Tree House at Camp Alexander is a kids television show, written by persons with extraordinary abilities. Two of our script writers, Josiah Banks (who plays Zevina the Alpaca) and Christian B. are autistic adults. They see the world through a different lens and help to enhance the Tree House creation with their viewpoints on life. Their characters visit Rosalinda in her Tree House to help during the times of Quarantine 2020 and beyond. The world is in a tough  place and needs to learn to use their imagination to fight off the darkness. Villains are part of the show, in some of their episodes, they battle the great Sea Witch (played by Elizabeth Flood). Together the team creates a magical world in which others can enter to strengthen their imaginations to help battle all the darkness in this world.

The shows are entirely improvised by Rosalinda and her Theater Arts students. The actors have been training for years; most are seasoned performers with many live performances under their belts. Rosalinda works together with them to create storylines, characters and to improve their theatrical abilities. The troupe of actors consists of people with down syndrome, autism, deafness, blindness, physical limitations- these "disabilities" actually create super hero abilities when focused through the arts.
